School Chaplain
At Manifold Heights we are fortunate to be part of the Chaplaincy program and to have the support of our school chaplain – Cyndee Little, for two days a week. Cyndee is able to engage with students, families, staff and the wider school community, offering pastoral care and support as required and contributing to the overall wellbeing of our community members. There is opportunity to encourage, simply listen and also connect people to more specific agencies if necessary, giving an important extra dimension to the wellbeing team.
At School Music
At-School Music is a duo of music tutors teaching band-style instruments on-site at various primary schools in the Geelong and outer region.
Lessons are held at Manifold Heights during and after school hours. Contact them at atschoolmusic.au
Tuition is provided by Victorian Institute of Education Registered, and Qualified teachers using a curriculum specifically designed by primary and secondary school teachers, based on a mixture of traditional and contemporary techniques. Students are taught a broad range of styles including contemporary, classical, jazz, rock blues. AMEB examination is available and optional. Instruments are available for sale and hire.
Karen King – Piano Teacher
Karen King has been teaching Piano in schools for the last 25 years. Lessons are held at Manifold Heights during school hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Lessons go for 30 minutes at a cost of $25.
