How to Enrol

Your child can start Prep at the beginning of the school year if they turn five on or before 30th April in that year. By law, all children must be enrolled in school by their sixth birthday. When to start your child at school is an individual decision. You may want to discuss this with us or with your child’s preschool teacher and health care professionals.

Enrolling your child into school is a big decision and it is important that you make an informed decision.  We welcome you to tour our school and meet our Principal, Christian Smith, to discuss your child’s needs and how Manifold Heights Primary School can best cater to them. Prep school tours are available from mid-February at 9:30am on Tuesdays and Fridays. To enquire about booking a School Tour please complete the Enquire Now form below.

If you are wishing to transfer your child from another school into Grades 1 – 6 please contact our Office to arrange a meeting with the Principal. The number of students enrolled at Manifold Heights Primary School has grown rapidly in recent years, with many classes reaching capacity.  

We are zoned and currently over capacity, therefore we are only able to accept enrolments for children who live within our zone, except for exceptional circumstances after a discussion with the Principal. Designated neighbourhood maps are set by the Department of Education each year.

Prep Enrolment
The Department of Education have updated the process for enrolling children into Prep for 2025 for all Victorian schools.  Families are required to complete an Application Form by 26th July 2024 to register their interest in enrolling their child.
